You may receive a tour quote with no-obligation on our website by clicking ‘Get your custom quote’, filling in a form on one of our pages, or by chatting with one of our experts through the live chat service. Once you’ve filled in the form, or given one of our team members your tour details, the next steps are as follows:
You’ll receive a tour quote and custom itinerary: One of our team of private tour experts will create your custom itinerary based off your details provides and provide you a quote for your vacation. Your personal tour expert will be in touch to provide you will your quote and itinerary, allowing you to request any changes you’d like made to the tour.
Customize your itinerary: If there is anything you’d like any changed, altered, or even if you’d like to start from scratch, our team of travel experts will help you customize your tour itinerary to suit your group. Some groups need only one draft of the itinerary, other may need more to decide on exactly what they’d like to do, but at Celtic Private Tours, we promise to keep working on your custom itinerary until you have the perfect vacation in Scotland and Ireland. No request is too big or too small for us!
Reserve your tour & pay online: Once (and only once) you’re happy with your itinerary and quote, you can pay for your package with your credit card through our private secure payment link, making your booking experience as easy as possible and with no surprise fees!

Once you’ve booked your tour, you will receive an email confirmation of your booking and tour dates. Customers are responsible for checking the accuracy of the booking details including travel dates and departure times.
Your tour dates are only reserved once your tour has been confirmed, the payment has been processed and accepted by Celtic Private Tours. You may face additional costs depending on the activities you choose to do on your tour. You will be notified of these charges by a member of our team in advance where possible.

If necessary, you may be able to transfer your booking to another party, however, this must be confirmed by your tour operator. It is your responsibility to notify the company if you wish to transfer your booking and the booking will only be transferred once we have confirmed so with all parties.
Deposits & Booking Payments
Private Tour Packages: In order to reserve your dates and tour, we require a 20% non-refundable deposit with the remaining balance due 6 weeks prior to departure.
We accept all major credit cards. Please contact us at email@example.com if you have any questions or issues with your credit card payment.
Baggage is restricted by the size of your tour vehicle (you can see our recommended luggage amount and vehicle sizes here). Tours of 7+ will not be held to these baggage restrictions. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like any further information.
It is the customers’ responsibility to organize onward travel after your tour with us and ensure they are suitable with the itinerary proposed. Although the tour operator will try to ensure relevant departure times are met, it is the customers’ responsibility to notify the operator about future travel details.
Our prices stated on the website are for transport inside the tour vehicle, the services of your expert driver-guide and the vehicle insurance. Entrance fees to any attractions whilst on tour are not included unless you are informed otherwise by your tour operator.
All attractions included but not limited to visits to castles; golf courses; distilleries; refreshments, meals and accommodation are at the customers’ expense.
We strongly recommend that all customers purchase travel insurance that covers all your travels. Travel insurance is not included in any of our tour options.
Celtic Private Tours reserves the right to modify or cancel any itinerary for any reason. If the company is, for any reason, not able to fulfil the tour, we will attempt to get your tour covered by one of our trusted partners.
We reserve the right to change the vehicle used to operate the tour at any time and for any reason they deem fit.
Alcohol is not included in the price or sale of any our of private tours.
Under no conditions can you hold Celtic Private Tours or any of our tour operators responsible for any delay, cancellation or dilation due to weather conditions, nor can any trip be cancelled outside of the terms outlined in our cancellation policy by the customer due to weather conditions.
We have a no smoking policy inside all company vehicles, however, if you do wish to smoke at any time, please let your driver know and they will stop at your party’s convenience.
If you have a complaint with respect to the company, you must inform your tour representative at the time. Any complaint that cannot be resolved by the tour representative at the time should be submitted in writing to Celtic Private Tours within 28 days of the incident. Your complaint will be investigated and actions will be taken on a case-by-case basis.
All contract and legalities arising in respect hereof shall be subject to Scottish Law unless the Company agrees otherwise in writing.
If you take legal action against the company and are unsuccessful, you agree to pay all costs of the company, including but not limited to attorney/client costs.
We believe in protecting your privacy and will only ask you for vital information necessary to securely processing your booking with us, in line with GDPR. This information will only be used to secure your booking, update you on your booking and contact you with relevant information relating to your tour. We may also use your contact information to request feedback about your tour within 14 days of travel. We will only ask for the ‘Name Passenger’ information, including but not limited to name, email address and telephone number.
We will not pass your personal information to any party who is not directly involved in providing the services that you have booked. Your name and email address may be given to accommodation and restaurants to make relevant reservations, you will be notified of this by the tour operator beforehand.
