Your private golfing tour begins with your chauffeur collecting you from either the airport or any other destination of your choosing. Our luxury cars are spacious enough to hold your luggage and clubs, so let’s not waste any time as we head to our first destination!
Dublin is the Capital of southern Ireland and is a city rich in history and culture, your guide will introduce you to the city as you drive around some of the major highlights such as:
St Patrick’s Cathedral
Trinity College and the Book of Kells
The Statue of Molly Malone
Of course, as our tours are tailor-made to suit you exactly we can make as many stops and spend as much time along the way as you would like, as long as you keep in mind that we are booked into Tee-off on our first course of the trip…
Druids Glen Hotel and Golf Resort: A 50-minute drive from Dublin city center, the Druids Glen is a superlative high-end resort that hosted the Irish Open between 1996-1999 and features two lush 18 hole courses.
After you have enjoyed some refreshments in the clubhouse after your round, you have the option of returning to Dublin where your driver can advise you on the best places to dine and enjoy the evening entertainment, or if ask us to reserve your accommodation early enough we can arrange for you to stay in the 5-star hotel attached to the Druid Glen Resort.
Your chauffeured golf tour really kicks into gear today with two rounds planned on separate courses, so in order to fit in all, we have planned you will be collected from your accommodation bright and early to make the one hour drive to The Kildare Hotel and Golf Club (The K Club).
The resort contains two 18 hole courses that are renowned not only for their difficulty but also because they hold the distinction of having been designed by golfing icon Arnold Palmer. The K Club has seen its fair share of majors over the years has hosted the 2006 Ryder Cup, the 2016 Dubai Duty-Free Open and no fewer than 13 European Opens.
After that round, you will want to nourish yourself before we make our way to the second course of the day, and what better place to do it than the luxurious Michelin Star restaurant on the premises of the resort.
Once you are feeling fresh and ready to go your driver will collect your clubs and we can make the one hour drive to the second course of the day, The Mount Wolseley Resort in County Carlow
You may be slightly exhausted after playing on the 18-hole Championship Course, so you will be glad to know that the resort’s hotel has 145 contemporary rooms, a luxury spa, and some fantastic dining options.
We have a long drive ahead of us this morning as we make the 3hour and 40-minute journey down to the Dooks Club in County Kerry. However, you can rest assured that you will be introduced to some outstanding areas of natural beauty along the way. Indeed part of the joy of our private tours is that you are able to alter the timetable as much as you desire so you are free to make unscheduled stops to snap a picture or appreciate the stunning views and charismatic villages.
The Dooks Club was founded in 1889 and its 18-hole links course is still delightfully challenging all these years later. However, perhaps the most special and unique aspect of the Dooks Club is its simply phenomenal setting amidst the gorgeous Dingle Bay and the stunning McGillycuddy Reeks mountains.
On day four of your tour, we crossover into Northern Ireland - stopping along the way at some tourist attractions such as the Tullamore Dew Distillery to taste some Irish whiskey.
We’ll arrive in Belfast later in the afternoon where you will spend the night - giving you a chance to visit the city’s fantastic selection of bars and restaurants and a perfect location to travel to the following day’s golf course: Royal County Down.
Would you like to play a round on the best golf course in the world? Well on day five of your Irish Golf tour you can do exactly that as your driver takes you to the Royal County Down Course - voted the best course in the world in 2018 by Golf Digest magazine.
The club is one of the oldest in all of Ireland, and as such has a rich tradition and history of hosting majors such as the Irish Open, the Senior British Open Championship, the Walker Cup, & The Palmer Cup.
In the afternoon, your driver-guide will give you a tour of the city of Belfast and provide you with recommendations for you to enjoy some authentic Irish food and traditional music.
Sadly the final day of your six-day Golf tour of Ireland but we will make sure you go out with a bang as we chauffeur you to the giant’s Causeway in the morning for the unforgettable views and scenery before we reach our final course of the trip, The Royal Portrush
Founded back in 1888 and overlooked by the ruins of the 13th century Dunluce Castle, The Royal Portrush last hosted the Open Championship in 2019 and provides a fitting send-off for your golf tour.
