The itineraries we offer on our site are a template, where we hope you can find out more about what you'd like to do and see in Scotland and Ireland, before getting in touch with our expert travel planners to design you a fully customized and truly unforgettable, private tour!
On the first day of your three-day tour of Scotland, we start off in the beautiful capital city of Edinburgh: exploring the three magnificent bridges that span the river forth: each bridge you will be and travel over has been built in a different century.
From there, we continue driving north to the picturesque village of Dunkeld and see the beautiful cathedral; complete with a lovely sweeping lawn that leads down the River Tay.
Next up, your private driver-guide will take you to the charming Victorian town of Pitlochry; which has two fantastic whiskey distilleries, including the smallest whisky distillery in Scotland: Edradour.
We then continue our journey north, where you can either stop for a spot of shopping at the House of Bruar or visit another distillery: Dalwhinnie, which is the highest distillery in Scotland meaning it has the least amount of angels’ share of all distilleries.
If you’ve had your fill of distilleries for the day, your driver-guide will escort you to Inverness, the capital of the Highlands and your accommodation for your first day in Scotland - if we have time on the way north, we might even be able to stop at the incredible Highland Folk Museum.
Inverness itself has a wonderful range of restaurants and bars for you to explore, and has accommodation options for all preferences.
The second day of this three-day tour allows you to explore some great sites in Inverness and the surrounding areas, including Culloden Battlefield and Cawdor Castle. Both Culloden Battlefield and Cawdor Castle are steeped in history, myths and stories; perfect for those looking to take a look back in time and connect with Scotland of yesteryears.
Once you’re finished exploring Cawdor Castle, your driver-guide will take you to Speyside to visit a distillery or two, specifically the world-famous Macallan Distillery; recently renovated with an incredible visitors center which tracks the history of the brand and the spirit itself in Scotland.
Finally, your driver-guide will escort you back to Inverness for the night.
On the last day of your Scotland tour, we leave Inverness: driving past the beautiful Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle, where (if you’re lucky) you might just catch a glimpse of Nessie the Loch Ness Monster.
From there we continue south, driving past Ben Nevis (the largest mountain in the UK), and if you’d like we can take time out to take a gondola ride up the Nevis Range.
We’ll then continue our journey back to Edinburgh, driving through the stunning Glencoe; stopping for pictures and short walks if you’d like to take in one of the most breathtakingly beautiful areas of Scotland.
Also en route to our capital city, your driver-guide will take you past Callander and Kilmahog, where you’ll have the chance to hand-feed some Highland Cows before driving through Stirling to admire the historic Stirling Castle.
Along this scenic final day of your tour, there are multiple fantastic bars and whisky tasting experiences. Let your driver know your preferences.
Finally, your tour will finish as your driver drops you off in Edinburgh at a destination of your choosing.
