No trip to Ireland would be complete without visiting our capital city of Dublin - a city that combines centuries of fascinating history, a huge cast of influential and significant figures and modern cafe culture, architecture and fine dining options. Naturally, you’ll never find yourself short for a traditional bar to enjoy a Guinness or some fine Irish Whiskey either!
Your chauffeur will provide you with oral history and guide to as many of the famous sights of Dublin as you desire. We would recommend that you should visit:
O’Connell Street and the General Post Office (GPO), where the Proclamation was read on Easter Sunday 1916, for the very first time.
Trinity College, the oldest university in Ireland and where the hallowed ‘Book of Kells’ which dates back to 384AD is stored.
The Doors of Dublin - you’ll never see two identical doors as you wander through Dublin city, and their unique and colorful charm gives the city an unmistakable character.
Pour your own pint of the black stuff in the Guinness storehouse
Romantics will wish to visit the place of rest for the patron saint of lovers, St Valentine himself at Whitefriar Street Church.
Enjoy the traditional bars and music in the city’s temple bar district.
In the mid-afternoon and after a busy morning of touring Dublin’s delights, your driver-guide will take you across Ireland and to your accommodation in Galway City: Park House Hotel.
Today you will stay in Belfast the second largest city in Ireland and where the Titanic was built. You will be able to visit The Titanic visitor attraction opened in 2012, a monument to Belfast's maritime heritage and on the spot where the ship was built. Also places to see are Stormont Parliament Buildings, St George's Market, Belfast City Hall, Crumlin Road Gaol and the Belfast peace lines or peace walls, which are a series of separation barriers that were erected during the troubles in Northern Ireland to keep the Catholic and Protestant community apart.
In the evening you'll get the chance to explore the city's fantastic nightlife and delightful selection of bars and restaurants.
In the morning explore the famous walled city of Derry, the second largest city in Northern Ireland.
Then in the afternoon we will drive down to the picturesque harbour town of Galway, known as the ‘Cultural heart of Ireland’. Here you can relax, taste some authentic Irish food, enjoy the harbour views and revel in the traditional music to be heard in pubs and bars across the city.
