With your luggage and clubs safely stored in our luxury vehicle, your chauffeur will get your tour underway by exploring the city of Dublin.
The city is famous for its mix of history, culture, and the friendly nature of the locals. Your guide will consult with you to determine the sites most suited to your interests to visit, but some selected highlights include:
Trinity College and the Book of Kells
The Guinness Storehouse
St Patrick’s Cathedral
Our tours are fully customizable so we can spend as long visiting these sites as you wish, however do keep in mind that we will need to be on time for our first planned round of golf on the tour which will take place just a short one hour drive from Dublin at Druids Glen Hotel and Golf Resort.
Can you imagine teeing off within sight of the waves of the Irish sea? Well you don’t need to imagine anymore as that is exactly what will happen as you begin your round at Druids Glen, a luxury resort nestled away in a little village with a big name called Newtownmountkennedy. The resort contains two 18-hole courses and hosted the Irish Open between 1996-1999.
After your round is over you have the choice of staying at the resort to enjoy the health spa and facilities or your driver can take you back into Dublin to enjoy some of the ‘the craic’ in one of the over 1000 bars and pubs packed into the city center!
Your chauffeur will collect you at your accommodation and begin your trip from the Capital of the South to the Capital of the north as we drive towards Belfast.
Before you begin your round of Golf your driver will again introduce you to some of the famous sights of the city such as:
A tour of the political murals
The Titanic Museum
The course we have selected for this leg of the tour is the Royal County Down, as soon as you arrive you will soon understand why it was voted the best course in the world in 2018 by Golf Digest magazine.
The club is one of the oldest in all of Ireland, and as such has a rich tradition and history of hosting majors such as the Irish Open , the Senior British Open Championship, the Walker Cup, & The Palmer Cup.
In the afternoon, your driver guide can take you back into the heart of Belfast and recommend one of the many fine dining establishments and numerous bars and pubs to enjoy a pint of the black stuff!
We can promise you an unforgettable final day of your Irish golf tour as your chauffeur drives north towards the coast and the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge to the tiny island of Carrick A Rede. From there we will stop at the Giants Causeway - A Unesco World Heritage site a remarkable 60 million-year-old rock formation with hexagonal stones reaching out into the wild Atlantic Ocean.
If you are not exhausted from all that then we have a round of golf to play!
The Royal Portrush will be the final course on the tour. A more fitting send-off you could not hope for as you Tee-off overlooking the ruins of 13th century Dunluce Castle. The Royal Portrush contains two lush 18-hole courses and last hosted the Open Championship in 2019.
